Lemon and Poppyseed Cold Process Soap

This bar is a handmade cold process soap, created in small batches using a traditional soapmaking method. After being crafted, it has been left to cure for a minimum of four weeks, allowing it to harden into a long-lasting bar.
 
Cold process soap is different from many store-bought soaps, which are often made with synthetic detergents. This method creates a true soap that includes the natural glycerine formed during the process. Each bar is made with a simple blend of oils and other ingredients chosen for a gentle cleanse and a pleasant lather.
 
Made from a variety of unrefined, raw ingredients and blended with local olive oil and organic coconut oil for a traditional cold process soap. The soap is coloured with a red clay and topped with poppyseeds for light exfoliation and lightly scented with lemon myrtle essential oil. This bar is a plant-friendly option.
Each bar is handmade in small batches, so no two are exactly the same.
